After receiving your booking request, the camper will be booked bindingly for you. We will then charge your credit card for the amount of the deposit, which is 20% of the total cost of the trip. In the booking confirmation we will inform you about the date when the final payment is due. Final payment is due 50 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your registered credit card (3% credit card fee applies). To avoid this 3% credit card fee, you can pay the balance by bank transfer or wire transfer. Please ask for this option.
If you are planning a trip to New Zealand during the summer months (November to February), especially during the Christmas and Easter periods, we strongly recommend booking your campervan or motorhome at least six months in advance. Most of the vehicles in the Tourism and Travel Holding Ltd. fleet are equipped with two batteries. A house battery and a motor battery. So you don’t have to worry, even if your house battery is dead, the engine will start without any problems. The house battery lasts fully charged for about 24 – 48 hours without driving or being connected to a power grid. Both batteries are charged by driving or connecting to a power supply. We recommend charging the batteries at least once a day. The Kingsleeper does not have a house battery. The cooler is cooled via the cigarette lighter while driving.
